2 new buildings approved in south Tel Aviv
District Committee for Planning and Building okays Ashdar company's plan to set up one six-floor, 12-floor residential buildings
The Tel Aviv District Committee for Planning and Building has approved the construction of two residential buildings in southern Tel Aviv. The plan was initiated by the Ashdar company, and is slated to be built on the Tova Sanhadray, Isser Yehuda Unterman and Yakkov Shevi Maor streets.
The project spreads across a territory of some 5.6 dunams (1.4 acres), allowing the construction of a six-floor building over a ground floor and a mini-penthouse, as well as another 12-story building.
According to an Interior Ministry official, "The building rights will stand at
9,850 square meters (106,024.518 square feet) for housing, which equal 92 housing units."
The official added that "the planning creates an open space in the heart of the project in favor of the tenants, and changes the purpose of the roads from the north and south of the plot to a combined road. In addition, Unterman Street will be turned into a boulevard."
