1. Israel's corrupt politicians are why Hamas is in Gush Katif!
Corrupt politicians (Sharon and Olmert) have damaged Israel in every way possible for their own selfish gains.

3. Olmert
It's about time. It took long enough. And when they're through with him, Peretz, Chalutz et al, maybe someone will look into why Omri Sharon is still walking around free (taking care of his father?????) after all these months. Then when we clean the place up, maybe we can start again and choose better leaders. It's about time.
P.S. Does Omert have to resign if there's a criminal investigation against him in progress or is OK to let him continue to head this poor, beleaguered country?

5. Corruption
Disgraceful, despicable, pitiful and contemptible. These are some of the terms I would use to describe the state of total disregard for the law, rampant corruption, organized crime, lack of leadership and political ineptness prevailing in our country these days. It is apparent that these politicians (and our "illustrious" PM included) look upon public office as a means of securing personal gains. The country's interests are a mere secondary priority at best.
So now in order to divert attention, I suppose we will be presented with some peculiar half-baked plan to make some more political concessions or concede territory. All in the name of "Peace." It is unfortunate how the terms "Peace" and "Security" have been repeatedly used to hide our inefficiencies and get away with any breach of the law.

6. How shameful
In all my years, I have always been very proud to be Israeli, regardless of my country of residence. It is difficult to keep feeling proud when the leadership of the Great Nation of Israel is sailing the Sea of Corruption. In all my years, I do not recall such shame associated with Israel's leaders. We cannot have this continue, if we want a very powerful Israel to continue. G-d Bless Israel, forever and ever.

8. corrupt politicians
Too many of Israel's leading politicians are corrupt---the answer lies in following thru investigations with actual indictments and imprisonment.
Too often, charges are dropped for "not enough evidence" which is usually a sign that the "investigators" were bought off.
Also. knesset members in Israel get a whopping salary plus lots of freebies and so many will not vote their conscience preferring to remain in the gov't and not give up the lifestyle to which they have become accustomed .
The only good politician is the one who truly loves every inch of our land.
Menachem Begin eschewed a luxurious lifestyle and was pained forever for having to give up Sinai for "peace"----he was the last of the true Zionists.
Olmert is a no-goodnik whose only aim is to advance his own position---he cares naught for Israel or its true Jews.
I hope this time he is found guilty for his crimes.

10. Corruption
For most of her modern history Israel had strong and honest leadership. These leaders were sometimes wrong and some made bad mistakes. Who doesn't?
But they were honest and were led by a vision of Israel reborn. Not the lining of their own pockets.
Today it seems as though the government of Israel should be considered a "continueing criminal enterprise".
Israelis deserve a chance at new elections. If this should come about I pray that those on the left will drop ideology (or lack thereof) and join the right to vote for men and women with strong moral character.
It is Israel's destiny to be great. Stop letting moral weaklings stand in her way.

13. Israel Is Killing Its Own, For What?
If I were an Israeli, I would be furious at all these investigations. For heavens sake, Israel is facing a nuclear threat from Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas, Fatah, Islamic Jihad, a strengthened Syria, Condi's wishful and biased thinking, various peace groups, instability in Iraq with the jury still out, and wishy washy Egyptian premier, and still goes after it's own while still in office.
Israel is cutting it's own throat. It should go after Arab MKs who advocate treason and sedition, and leave it's own for after office. An ethics committee or such, is good enough, but no prosecution. Israel: wake up to your real enemies.

14. investigate which part of Olmert?

15. Why we have investigations
Sadly, our country is a democracy only in comparison to our immediate neighbors. Take a look at the structure of our system and you will see -- it simply is not a democracy.
Try to vote against an obviously corrupt or incompetent politician here -- can't be done. Here you vote for the party, not the man. Here you vote for a national ticket with no local connection.
No local connection is how Peretz's home town of Sderot can be under constant bombardment and he gets elected.
Look at our system and you will see the root of our problem and how corrupt men get and hold onto power. Look and you will discover the same 45 members of Kinneset who never are replaced, despite the success or failure of their party in elections.
Unfortunately, the way the system has been designed the only way to deal with out and out corruption, not incompetence, is to investigate.
We deserve a better system of democracy because it is quite clear this system is broken.

17. #13 - Olmert is more dangerous than the Arab MKs !
Olmert's wife is an arch ultra-left winger.
His son fled the country rather than serve in the army.
His daughter is a member of the hated Machsom Watch that checks to see that Israeli soldiers checking for weapons and explosive belts are being nice to the Arabs.
He kept the IDF on a leash last summer which means there wasn't a war but a debacle.
You think that this is the person that we need right now ?

20. So when will kadima have its FIRST election
kadima took power as a coup. The party was never elected and its leadership has never been elected. Yet you elected it to enforce its rule by forcewith the bashing of skulls and trodening under hooves those who love the land. You 23% who elected the party with an un-elected leadership hate Jews who love the land that protects you. As if 23% is a mandate for pogroms?
