With all due respect, I cannot understand why Israel has agreed on this truce in exchange for nothing. Gilad Shalit should be back home.

It is a sad day in Israel's history where a family of a captive soldier has to resort to legal means to force the government do do something that should have been done long time ago...Shame on the goverement...

This entire "truce" is a sham and just offers more proof that olmert and his cronies are only concerned about themselves. This gives the islamofacists time to reload, and that is all they want, for now. No Shalit, no deal, ever! Israel is being made to look the fool again, in the eyes of the international community. A WEAK fool at that. These loser leaders need to be tossed out now before they give away Mt. Dov, The Golan, Shebba farms, Jerusalem and G-D knows what else. Israel need s to deal with these scum murderers with deadly force as that is all they will understand, EVER!

This issue I find the most disgusting, releasing convicted murderers well knowing they will murder again. Why should other innocent people have to die to release 1 soldier, with all due respect to this 1 soldier and his family. These murderers should have been executed ages ago and never left for bargaining. Israel was once notorious for NOT negotiating with terrorists. The war was fought supposedly because the three soldiers were kidnapped. Why then is there a cease fire when they are not returned? Israel has gone mad and certainly soft to give the Arabs this victory.

Hamas is demanding the release of at least 450 prisoners, most believed to be responsible for the murder of Israelis. Israel has agreed to release “only” 70 of those on the list, and at this stage refuses to release the rest. Israel has had proposals and there have been other proposals, but now it is Hamas' turn to show flexibility if it wants a deal. Unless the Hamas position changes, there will be no deal and it will not be possible to achieve progress. There should be no other option.
