The faces of 123 murdered Israeli children, for whom no European "human rights" group ever got active for convicting their murderes.

. . . and they all would be alive today if the terrorist scum who shoot indiscriminately at innocent Israeli civilians did not embed themselves in the civilian population for the sole purpose of useful idiots like you pointing out that civilians are killed in war. Grow up!

Raymond is correct. War crimes against Israel and The US are ignored (especially israel). But the war ctimes of those who attack these two countries are justified. Spain and most of Europe has become a group of cowards willing to sell out justice to achieve a temporary peace. Have they forgotten Hitler and Chamberlin?

38. Question to Richard
You said: "Maher Muhammad Salim a-Najar
44 year-old resident of Khan Yunis, injured on 04.05.2008 in Khan Yunis, by gunfire, and died on 15.05.2008. Did not participate in hostilities when killed. Additional information: Wounded [??killed??]when he went onto the roof of his house to help his brother, who had been shot ". Why was his brother shot, maybe because he was a terrorist? If so how helping a wounded terrorist is not "participating in fighting"?

47. Viva Espania!!!!!!
Muy Bueno! The fact of the matter is that if Israeli leaders and military commanders want to be treated as civilized citizens of the world then they need to start acting like them. One of the posters on this thread mentioned that 387 Palestinians have been killed this year. How many Israelis have been killed by the missles you Israelis cry and moan about every day ? I would guess less than ten? Maybe even less than five! Based on the number of people killed, murdered, kidnaped, tortured, and denied basic human rights I would posit that most of the people in the civilized world are beginning to see who the real terrorists are. Hence your leaders have warrants for their arrest.

48. It's a RESISTANCE stupid. Hamas is legitimate!
Hamas, Fatah, Hizbullah etc. are all legitimate resistance to the jewish occupation of their land and the fact that the moderate Arab states have allowed themselves to be emasculated/blackmailed by Israel and the West while Iran has stood up for the cause of the Palestinians mean U are up the proverbial creek without a paddle. 49. Lefties arresting lefties, it's poetic justice
It is poetic justice, that lefties like dichter, halutz, almog, etc, could be arrested in spain. Actually, there shlould be a interpol warrant for them so that they can be arrested in every country. And please add some more to the list. Amir Peretz was DM during lebanon war. Livni, I am sure something can be found in her mossad career.
G-d sent those "human rights" groups so they can be arrested for lefttie ideals they professed when they dismanteled israel's security, when they led the wichhunt for frum jews after rabin assasination, for destroying Gaza communities, for Amona...

50. #20, AGAIN so what?
it has been pointed out to you over and over and over that the majority of Palestinians killed weren't in the "killed whilst not engaging in hostilities" category, especially this year when it is close to 70%. Your nonsense is especially appalling given that data is from the website you are cutting and pasting from.
|
|
51. #47, the poster is a known moron
he only cuts and pastes because when people pointed out that the vast majority of Palestinians killed are either actively participating in hostilities - wierd he never cuts and pastes from that part of btselem even though they helpfully separate them out - or where standing next to people who where. It just goes to show he has no interest in the truth or facts, one suspects he just posts and doesn't read.
However that said, one thing that can be said in his favour over yours is at least he bothers to get some stats. Care to to a comparison of the number of people "tortured" by Israel and the number tortured by Hamas or Fatah? Lets be generous and only include Palestinians. Lets look at the number of Palestinians killed by Israelis vs Palestinians - because in 2007, more Palestinians were killed by their own than by Israel. What "basic human rights" are the Palestinians being denied by Israel? Care to back your claims up?
Even if you could - which you can't - more Germans were killed than US and British in WW2, does that make the Nazis a beacon of light and the US and British the "real terrorists"?
Finally, anyone who follows these so called "human rights groups" knows that they are born fabricators. From claiming "boycotts" to "forming civil courts" to "recording" human rights "abuses" to fake arrest warrants, when you scratch at the press release it ALWAYS turns out to be a pack of lies.
|
|
52. #38, its a technicality
Richard is cutting and pasting from Btselem, I introduced to the site which is a massive improvement over what he was cutting and pasting from.
Btselem is at least honest enough to say we cannot always tell if someone is a "militant" or an uninvolved civilian. All we can do is say at the time of death was this person actively shooting or shelling Israelis. So despite the fact that Btselem points out that putting someone in this category doesn't make them a civilian the distinction gets lost for Richard and the BBC.
An example is when Israel shelled a Hamas "police" station and killed a number of Hamas "policmen", who were armed at the time, certainly weren't civilians but at the moment of their death were not shooting at Israelis, hence they fall into the same category as An-Najar - who may or may not have been a civilian.
|
|
53. #17, actually when HRW tried to criticise Hizbollah
They were threatened by Hizbollah and warned their safety could not be "guaranteed". Needless to say, that press conference never happened.
|
|
54. #9, don't believe the hype
What you hear is these reports which are simply print-outs of press releases from these organisations. What you don't hear is that each and every single one of these cases has failed, EVERY SINGLE ONE.
Exactly one Israeli "had" to "scuttle" out of the US, there is not a single case of another Israeli doing so. There are no end of "high ranking" Israelis in Europe, the US and NZ - where a similar lying report was issued about Ya'alon having to "scuttle" out of NZ when the real truth was he stayed and the case fell at the first hurdle just like EVERY SINGLE OTHER CASE.

57. #47 Poor Espana
Since Israel redraw from Gaza 4000 rockets have been fired at Israel. 250000 people are expose to daily attacks. If there are less victims on the Israeli side it is because most of the population has been evacuated and these who remain are living day and nights in bonkers. Is this not a war crime?
Israel a tiny democratic country, located in the heart of an increasing aggressive fundamental Islam, has to deal with the cruellest enemy "my world" knows since the second world war.
Hamas refuses to recognize the existence of the state Israel and daily repeats it will fight until the totally destruction of the Jewish state.
All your accusation of kidnapping, torturing and the abuse of basic human rights are not committed by Israel but by Israel's enemies.
Since the middle age the Jews have been victims of false myths and accusations for crimes committed by others. One day History will tell the truth also about this false myth and point on those who spread it.
However, you are not "the world" but just another poisoned Jew hater, and thanks God that this time the Jewish people are not depended on Spain or any other European country but on their own.
Good luck Israel !

60. #59, if only...
This is yet another PR "lawsuit" when push comes to shove you'll find it is nothing of the sort. They have filed it in Spain because next to no Israeli ministers will go there and so it will never be tested and hence they can claim "victory". Again, EVERY SINGLE ONE of these cases when contested have been thrown out - at least four of them on this same incident.
