Anyone with half a brain knows Iran can barely match what US technology already accomplished half a century ago. It's all bluster with no substance to back it up. Without human shields, none of these middle eastern states would last 5 minutes in a real war with the west, and I'm sure they know it too. These types of tests are probably conducted more for domestic consumption than for international attention. Let Iran spend hundreds of millions on its missile program; armed with conventional explosives, their missiles are glorified scuds good for blowing up sand in the desert but not much else.

To fix any problems to make them as accurate and deadly. Sure the pictures are doctored but mainly to cover the launch vehicles and pads. I'm sure the US and others have a lot of data to shows the real effectiveness of Iran's missiles. The pictures are only for show. But Iran's defensive and strike back capabilities are real. Israel would have attacked by now if it could. Israel has never been shy to attack others.

The economic situation of the Iranian population is dreadful. Ahmadinejad cannot afford the risk of an Israeli attack on the Iranian nuclear installations and/or other vital targets – he might face a popular revolution supported by a part of the Iranian army.
