Rome mayor's fascist evil comments spark outcry     Reuters
1. LEFT IS THE ROOT A FACISM
(09.08.08)
2. Alemanno is better friend of the Jews and Israel
Alemanno is better friend of the Jews and Israel than many, most of the left. Italy's last FM, D'Alema, was pro-Hamas hardliner for "palestine". Modern Europe so far this year alone poured 580 million euros (about 870 million dollars) to Judenrein-wishing "moderate" arab terrorist entity.

3. Today it's the Left who are the evil racists
Today it's the left who are the evil racists / antisemites.

4. italian mayor's fascism
collectivism includes both fascism and socialism--always agaist religion and thus agaist the jews ..there is no way to separate facism from racial hatred anymore than communism can be separated from the liquidation of the kulaks or the gulag--evil begets evil;.quaere the 'intellectuals' confusion as to this truth! even mao said 'the fish stinks from the head!'

5. More proof the route to evil is paved with good intentions
But who or what is really to blame? Like its brothers Communism and Nazism, Facism had its roots in helping the average worker get due rewards for being a fundamental pillar of society. Along come snakes in the grass who either regret not doing the same, or who favor a heirarchical arrangement, and the battle creates a slippery slope of complacency, jealousy, paranoia, projection, propaganda, megalomania, and finally genocide of the very people who were once the objects of protection. So very, very sad. Israel must make every effort to slam harder on the brakes.

6. When Bolsheviks try to fool...
The inventors of concentration camps i.e. left are always use the term Fascist or Nazi for their opponents, but in fact the left are real anti-Semites of our days looking for hegemony along with their best friends Islamists. Essentially the islamo- leftie alliance is the biggest threat to Europe existence.

7. Mr. Alemanno is correct
It may sound counterintuitive to many Jews (I am an American Jew who speaks fluent Italian) but anti-semitism or even racism is not necesarily an intregral part of fascism. In reference to Italian Fascism, let us recall that, to a large degree, the brains behind Mussolini's rise to power was the Italian Jewess Margareta Grassini-Sarfatti, from a very wealthy Venitian family. With Mussolini, she founded and edited the early "socialist" newspapers; she wrote his speeches and was for many years , Mussolini's intellectual and moral supporter until, yes, anti-semitism but mostly simple jealousy, drove her into exile to Argentina. She returned to Italy after the war.

9. Its only "absolute evil" when its anti Jewish!
If its anti-Black, anti-Arab, anti-anything else well lets face it, it's not so bad. Just so long as no one dares to call Likud or Kadima, or Labour's actions in the occupied areas by the name they merit then all is well. That's only Zionism!

10. some precision
In addition to what is said in teh article, one should know that the so called "racial laws" where edited by Mussolini during WWII, when its regime was dependent on german support, and to the repeated request of german authorities. One famous Fascist leader, Italo Balbi, who was once party chief, protested then vehemently against the fact that Italian Jews were stripped from their rights. The racial laws were indeed infamous, but as Alemanno said, this is more complicate dto categorize as such all of that movement on a historical basis

11. Fascist Mayor of Rome
Comments by Rome's mayor should provoke a strong response by all Jews throughout the world in the form of a boycott of visits to Rome until the mayor resigns. We cannot tolerate intolerance of the sort practiced by fascists and neo-fascists like the mayor of Rome. He might be well served to choose his words more carefully, else he might find himself suspended from a tree with a noose around his neck!
