Barak: Visit Negev instead of Sinai     Hanan Greenberg
1. not exactly the same experience
mish ,   tlv   (09.16.08)
2. What the hell for ? There is nothing too
there. If you would build a casino resort ,with hotels, swimming pools, restaurants and nice shops. Then people would come too the Negev .The only thing you can do there is play in sand and thats not my idea of fun Mr.Barak.....
Eric......... ,   Israel.....   (09.16.08)
3. Stupid people
Should have heard what those people who refuse to come home were being called on the radio this morning!!
Talula ,   Israel   (09.16.08)
4. Develope the South
If the money was available, the negev could be developed into an Israeli version of Vegas. It could be a great place to go. But right now, all there is is heat and sand. No place to dip your toes when it gets too hot. So, no - that's not going to work.
Kim ,   Israel   (09.16.08)
5. Next he'll be saying not to travel to Jerusalem, stay in TA
Zion   (09.16.08)
6. Barak the expert in retreat, not protecting Jewish lives
Barak is a general? A soldier? How come the Oslo war has cost thousands of Jewish lives and threatened the existence of Israel and not a single politician, including these politically correct pseudo-soldiers, never talk about protecting Jews?
Adam Eliyahu Berkowi   (09.16.08)
7. Two thoughts
a. It was a mistake to surrender Sinai to the Egyptians for the money that the Americans gave b. #4: to develop the South you would need to act against illegal Arab building which the government refuses to do. There is no land left.
Israel Israeli ,   Tel Aviv   (09.16.08)
8. How about barak taking a long hike
on a short pier? Or barak defend Israel and not the arabs! We should have hunted down all terrorists and killed them and their families.
jason white ,   afula,israel   (09.16.08)
9. ?????
I don't understand...this so called former genera and current defense minister has NO CLUE about what is required for the defense of this country, except that "we will act", and then he makes outlandish remarks about the economy??? He really needs to make up his mind and FOCUS ON ONE OBJECTIVE AT A TIME!
David ,   Ramat Aviv   (09.16.08)
