If the money was available, the negev could be developed into an Israeli version of Vegas. It could be a great place to go. But right now, all there is is heat and sand. No place to dip your toes when it gets too hot. So, no - that's not going to work.

Barak is a general? A soldier? How come the Oslo war has cost thousands of Jewish lives and threatened the existence of Israel and not a single politician, including these politically correct pseudo-soldiers, never talk about protecting Jews?

I don't understand...this so called former genera and current defense minister has NO CLUE about what is required for the defense of this country, except that "we will act", and then he makes outlandish remarks about the economy??? He really needs to make up his mind and FOCUS ON ONE OBJECTIVE AT A TIME!
