32. Shalit
I just read the article Robert Bernier linked in his mail, and I am sick..... sick... sick...... how can a government even think of negociating with thugs like this.
And as much as it pains me to admit this: there has been no contact with Shalit, no visits by the Red Cross (I wonder why?) because he is dead? Has been all this time?- why is this government continuing to give in without the slightest guarantee to get a live soldier back this time?
The number of requested prisoners is going up und up.... isn't it time to just say: take it or leave it? Call their bluff? maybe show some backbone and strength-

33. Reply to Malone
Because Hamas is afraid Israel will raid the hideout as soon as the Red Cross enters it.

34. Abu Mujahed, if you "have no interest in
dragging the issue" then free Shalit immediately. You will see that it is the only right way to act.

35. Of course they have an interest...
In dragging their feet. If and when they release Gilad Shalit, Hamas has no bargaining chips left to blackmail Israel with.
I doubt they would release him even is all 1400 of the names on their list are freed.
That is, if he's still alive...
