The Caribbean has plenty of people able and willing to work on such a project. Why did the company have to go all the way to China for such labor? Something sounds rotten in this system.

"They have con men in China who take money from innocent laborers..." Hmm.... and does every Israeli construction company plead ignorance every time they hire foreign workers? I'd check deeper into this story to see if Ashtrom is as innocent as they say. Going on the vast bad experiences we read about here in Israel, I'm guessing the workers are more in the right than the company. This calls for more investigative reporting.

There is acute unemployment in these Caribbean Islands. Neither the Israelis nor their Chiniese workforce should be allowed onto these Islands, so long as there are Caribbean contractors/workers in need of a job. This sort of circumventing the native population and importing foreign labour always end badly.
