2. un
wow! the un must annul this priject. after all, why are saudis allowed to build a protective fence against terrorism, but the israelis can't????
what's good for the goose is good for the gander.

3. Double-standards
Can anyone please explain to me why the Saudis can build a security fence to keep terrorists out, but the Israelis can't?

4. Wait, you mean the Saudi apartheid wall?

5. What about al-Qaeda in side of Saudis land?

There is no such thing as a security fence (ask the Palestinians)- call it what it really is APARTHEID.

7. # 5
The Saudis have no problems with Al-Qaeda as long as they murder people outside of Saudi Arabia. They are even happy to see Al-Qaeda killing Jews, Shiites, Atheists etc.
But any harm inside Saudi Arabia is considered as non-tolerable. So the fence shall prevent atttacks from outside and illegal immigration from Yemen. But not Saudi terrorists do their jobs.
Take care

8. I will explain it.......
The saudis are building on their on land, while Israel is building it on stolen land, thats the difference. To be honest if you built it on the 67 borders, we the arabs, would even help you to complete the wall, it would mean we dont need to see your faces again.
|
|
9. difference between you and them
the saudis are building the fence in their land, the saudi fence is not cutting into iraqi or yemeni villages, the saudi fence is not separating thousands of iraqis from their lands, the saudi fence is not illegal according to international law
the israeli fence is the opposite, it cuts into palestinian land and is illegal according to international law

it with violence, in the year 1125 AC, Saladin ring any bell. the land was never belonged to arabs.

11. # 8 Sam, France
If the Arabs hadn't started a war w/ Israel they may still have possession of the land.
However, they did start the war and lost, lost it fair and square and Israel will build her fence on her land just as is America and now, the Saudi's.
Lose a war and expect to lose the land, bozo.
Want it back? Come and fight for it and lose again.

The racism! The horror!
Quick, let's take this to the security council and make sure its condemned by all! It's clear that this is only a racist wall and has no connection to security. We must take action to ensure that there is no right for Saudi Arabia to build their "security" wall.

18. Israel is building the wall on Israeli territory
Anybody with any knowledge of history knows that Jews come from Israel and for the past 2000 years up until 1948 the country has been occupied by various foreign powers.
So according to my experts in international law, the wall/fence is built on Israeli territory.
Lots of dupes for Palestinian propaganda like to talk about the security wall/fence cutting through "Palestinian" lands.
Well, the fact is that there is not today and has never been a country called "Palestine", so it's hard to see any legal precedent for saying Israel is building anything on "Palestinian land".

21. WHOSE WALL IS IT ANYWAYS .....
ISRAEL IS BUILDING ON WHAT USED TO BE "OCCUPIED ISRAEL LAND "..... IT'S ISRAEL'S OWN LAND.
IT IS BUILDING ON LAND OF ISRAEL, AND IT'S NOT THE BUSINESS OF THE POORLY MIS-INFORMED , UNDER-INFORMED TO MAKE CLAIMS THAT ARE PATENTLY ANTI-ISRAEL AND FALSE TO BOOT.
THE LAND THAT IS ISRAEL WAS CONQUERED BY ROMAN FOREIGNERS.
AS HISTORY WENT ON, THE TURKS CONQUERED ISRAEL'S HISTORICAL TERRITORY, THEN THE BRITS, THEN THE BRITS PARTIONED THE ISRAEL LAND AND GAVE A CHUNK TO " THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN".
NOW THERE ARE ALL DIFFERENT SORTS OF ARABS MIGRANTS, LIKE PALS, JORDANIANS, CLAIMING THE LAND OF ISRAEL.
ISRAEL IS DOING WHAT ANY SOVEREIGN NATION WOULD DO, THAT IS TO DECIDE FOR ITSELF WHAT IS BEST FOR THE COUNTRY.
THE SAUDIS ARE BUILDING ON OTHERS' LANDS, BECAUSE THE BRITS. GAVE THE SAUDIS ALL THIS LAND.
IS THIS REALLY LEGAL ?
IT WAS FORESEEN, THAT IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME UNTILL THIS SITUATION WOULD
ARISE REGARDING GOOD WALLS AND BAD WALLS.
THE MIS-INFORMED AND OTHERWISE LESS INFORMED PEOPLE WOULD HAVE A " GOOD ANSWER" RELATING TO WALLS.
THESE PEOPLE ARE THE " GOOD OR BAD" WALL EXPERTS.... JUST ASK THEM
THE BAD OR ILLEGAL WALLS ARE BY DEFINITION OF THE MIS-INFORMED PEOPLE ARE ONLY WALLS PERTAINING TO ISRAEL.
ANYONE ELSES WALLS ARE "GOOD" WALLS AND NICE WALLS.
THE BETTER, LEGAL OR THE " GOOD " WALLS ARE THE SAUDIS WALL, U.S. WALL OR FENCE AT MEXICAN BORDER WITH U.S. THAT MANY COULD ARGUE ARE BUILT ON CONQUERED MEXICAN LAND.
CHINA MUST HAVE A "GOOD WALL " BECAUSE THE CHINESE ARE NOT CRITICISED , SO IT MUST AN OKAY TYPE OF WALL.
LOOK WHO IS LINING UP FOR LUCRATIVE CONTRACTS FOR BUILDING THE WALL....THE VERY SAME EUROPEAN AND AMERICANS WHO HATED WALLS BEFORE, ESPECIALLY IF IT WAS ISRAELI BUILT
AND THE ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDA CONTINUES UNABATED.
JUST A CONTINAUTION OF ANTI-ISRAEL MYTHS AND FALSE ANTI-ISRAEL ALLEGATIONS, LIKE THE ONES WE SEE HERE ON YNET CLAIMED BY THE THE MIS- UNDER-INFORMED PEOPLE.
THERE IS NOTHING NEW IN THIS ANTI-ISRAEL PROPAGANDA.
IT WAS TO BE EXPECTED SOONER OR LATER THAT THERE WOULD BE " DISTINCTIONS" IN TYPES OF WALLS AND NOW ENTER THE "APOLOGISTS" ALSO KNOWN AS THE ISRAEL BASHERS REGARDING THE DIFFERENT TYPES OF WALLS.
THIS IS MERELY ANOTHER FORM OF EXPRESSION OF THE ANTI-ISRAEL HOSTILITY THAT FUELS THE HATRED BY THE MIS-INFORMED MISCREANTS TO OTHER EQUALLY LESS-INFORMED ANTI-ISRAEL FORCES.

22. Alan you are misinformed
Every inch of Palestinian land on the Israeli side of the fence is cultivated by Palestinian farmers who daily come into Israel through crossings in the fence. I see tens of them from Kochav Yair where we live. Get your facts straight before you talk, but I guess you do not see these farmers all of the way from Texas.

the Israeli fence is built on our land!
go get a map and verify!
|
|
24. #14, I looked at a map, actually
And I found that the vast majority of people living west of the security fence are Jewish. Given the tendency of Palestinian terror organizations to target Jews, I get the impression that this device is not really much of a land grab (the people living on that land are Israelis already) but rather a legitimate defensive structure. So one could cry about '67 borders or the borders back when the British controlled the area or back when the land was called Judea, but the fact of the matter is the people who live on the land deserve security.

This BS you are using does not work on me, remember i live in this part of the world. May be you will be more successful using it on your buddies over a beer at Finnegan's. So let us do this check one more time: look at a map between the 1967 line and the wall and tell me what you see, then look at the villages and towns between these two lines and tell who are they and then when where these towns built on what land and when and how was this land acquired. Then imagine the line shifting to the 1967 boundary what happens, a few settlements are out. Dude all settlements should be out anyway. Then tell me why does the wall encircle cities like Qalqiliya, why are there gates closing small towns and villages, why can't the genius Israelis who invented everything solve these simple challenges. Pull this trick on others, because I looked west of the wall and found the majority were Europeans, damn I looked way too west.

29. Whose Land
Farouk all of this argument from you and your friends could have been made irrelevant by what you and your ilk will never acknowledge. The fact that from 1948- 1967 the West Bank was controlled by and conquered by force of arms by Jordan and all who lived there were called Jordanians and not Palestinians.
The land of the West Bank that the security wall is built on only a 1/3 part of the Palestinian Mandated territory that was confiscated by the British to form Transjordan in 1922 and conquered by the Jordanians in 1947 and liberated by Israel in 1967. You and your friends have never been able to explain why these so called Palestinians did not claim the area allocated to them from Jordan and establish their country Palestine in the whole West Bank and Gaza immediately after the 1949 Rhodes agreement. This occupied area consisted of land that had belonged to Jews most importantly the Old City of Jerusalem, Gush Etzion and parts off Hebron in some cases for hundreds if not thousands of years. All Jews who had lived in this area for hundreds of years if not longer where forcibly removed from their homes by force of arms. I ask why was the 49th article of the Geneva Convention not imposed then on the Jordanians. In most cases of disputed lands the land is owned by Jews with official documentation inTabo from the time of the Ottoman Turkish Empire and reauthorized by the British Mandatory Government..
I would furthermore like to remind you and the readers that when the Palestinian Mandate was ended in UN Resolution 181 on November 29th 1947, there was supposed to be a Partition plan, there wasn’t since the other side did not and still does not fully recognize the Jewish State known as Israel. Instead there was a bloody war that ended in an Armistice with a Cease-Fire (The infamous Green) Line between Israel and her Arab neighbors Jordan, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon It also is important to note that there was no Palestinian representation involved. And why was that?
So in essence there is no occupation since there is no Palestinian entity the so called Green Line is a Cease fire line between Israel and Jordan was replaced by an official border through a peace agreement with Jordan. So until the Palestinians and the Palestinian Authority accepts a peace with Israel based on mutual recognition it is beyond proof that the land belongs to Israel.
If the Palestinians want something they should only blame themselves and their leaders since now they want what they could have had in peace in November of 1947 and in 1993. You asked for war you had your asses kicked and you have absolutely no one to blame but yourselves.
I await your answer.

30. Oh ghostq,
Well anyway Israel looks at it, it will be the 1967 border, and if not now then later. Allow me to quote a senior Israeli official who once said after a few drinks "We can keep the situation as is for a long time and inch little gains creating facts on the ground, we can keep things warm sometime boiling but never allow it to explode. However, it must sustainable but it is not in reality. We are nation that is becoming arrogant and decided to close its eyes and lost the will to solve the problem because we feel righteousness and entitlement. To be able to have a state that will last forever then we must be serious and resolve the current situation at all cost knowing no Israeli will appreciate at the outset. The costs only get higher with time should the current situation continue, but if we do not then Israel will only be an experiment that lasts 100 or so years”. Another guest at that dinner made a remark on a quote from Salah Din who once said “Many conquerors have come here and ruled for many years, they all have one thing in common. They all come from the sea and they all leave from the sea. Those left behind are the people of this land. Everyone else is a passerby.”
So I can be a fart in Israel or oppressed by Jordan as you said but one thing is for sure; I am not going anywhere. My family has been in Jerusalem since entirety and until entirety, so ghostq what is your plan for me.
Deport you cannot, kill me you can.
