... to release some prisoners and do a deal to get Gilad Shalit back, now we know he is alive and well. I support the painful idea of letting lots of prisoners out to go back to Hamastan or East Bankistan to either continue their terrorist activities (or preferably not). Israel know their enemy, and there are many more out of prison, than inside. I know it will be hard for bereaved families to accept, but there are other advantages over that of Shalit coming home. It clears prison space, it saves an awful lot of money and effort looking after them, and those particular enemy combatants will be once again outside of the main body of Israel.

But you a right in one thing: Israel could, but wouldn't yet impliment the only rescue method that worked in earlier wars : Go into Gaza, clean off everything that moves and bring your soldier home. It is mind buggling, that while all this hatred, terror, capture of our troops is going on, Israel gives Gaza water, power,medicine etc.. If they would blocade the life pipes to Gaza until Gilad's release, he would be home in a week nd would never do it again. Israel is hated by the scum no matter what they do. So why not show strenghts and force !?

There is too much excitement after seeing a video of Gilad that was made two weeks ago. These people who kidnapped him have left no clues to his whereabouts, if you noticed no glasses so a reflection of his kidnappers could not be seen, I have seen to much CSI. Free Gilad yes but lets be careful, let the government act in a proper manner, we have seen mistakes made in the past, released prisoners and dead bodies returned.
