1. It is a Shame, our leaders can't look at themsleves in the mi
I am a Turkish-Jew who loves both of my country , but seems to me that Israel can not pass beyond their peronoia, looking and searching thinking everyone is our potetial enemy,if if that so we have to understand that Turks were our friend and many times protector ,since 1492, they saved Jews from nazi, from spain, from Arabs and my family enjoyed their lives in Izmir for 100's of years, but seems to me everytime Turks do not agree with some of the actions of our leaders many in Israel ready to write Turks off ,and even threathen hostility aginst them, we have to aducate our people who is who, and how important old friend Turks are,l am very disapointed with some of the reamrks l read on internet ,aginst the Turks, we have to listen our friends we are not alone in this .if they can talk to Armenians ,we can talk to our enemies through our friends like Turks, they do not want Israel any harm, they want Israel live in peace and security and they want the whole reagion to prosper,Shalom

2. Turkish-Israeli Divergence due to Zionist Bloodshed
Both Lebonan and Gaza operations were massacres. It is the way of war not number of causialities were sour of concern.
In Gaza operation 1500 palestinian killed 500 of which were children
All world including Turkey irritated with method of war of Israel
When Israel critisized over Gaza operation most of them were critisizing METHODS. Not right of Defence of Israel.
Israel mainly airbombed some civillian targets they had inteligence reports that they were belonged to houses of militants.
That is you bomb civilian Apartment full of neighboors and families of militants just because there was a house of militan among them. In fact it is not different than bombing a civilian Israeli settelement because one of houses were belonged to and IDF member. Do you think that is acceptable?
If IDF were to kill 3000(with minimal civilian losses) Hamas militants in a heroic battle face to face with them NOBODY WILL TELL ANYTHING or CRITISIZE ISAEL
even I would not critisize Israel but Israeli army is afraid of confronting Hamas militants either airbombed their homes or shelled by tanks where they believed to be, NO real confrontation with HAMAS
Israeli soldiers hide themselves in Gazzan houses and wrote long hate messages on wall, in which war a soldier can find time to write anything on wall? It show the fact, they had no courage to confront hamas(which also run away and apply guerrilla tactics) but hide in houses and shell with tanks from long distance.
When they tell those facts they immediately accuse you being anti-semitic
Anti-zionist and anti semitic is not the same, if you do not understand this try to understand considering Anti-zionist jews demonstarting each day in Jarusalem(and they severaly beaten by Israeli security forces)

3. We Turks have no animosity towards our Jewish cousins:
Our contempt is not directed at our Jewish cousins but rather specifically directed towards the current Israeli government for constantly forgetting or wilfully ignoring the fact that the Turks are muslims too. What was once an Arab/Israeli conflict situation, has now through the Israeli Governments generalisations, actions and ignorance been transformed into an Israeli/Muslim tension situation. This is despite the fact that in history, Muslim Turkey, Muslim Azerbeijan, Muslim Kazakstan etc has never encroached upon jewish interests. To the contrary there has been nothing but close co-operation between the two peoples. So what has changed now? Pure and simple: Every muslim including but not limited to Turkish muslims are perceived as an enemy of the State of Israel by the Israeli peoples. Who is to blame? Well partly the individuals living in the West Bank and quite frankly Israeli politicians. Remember my friends, the only alternative to co-existence is co-destruction. Make your pick.

4. My family is from Constantinople
The Turkish "help" to the Jews from 1492 on (that's when my family was expelled from Spain and portions ended up in Turkey) was motivated purely by self-interest. Today, it is the same. There is more status and money in boldly lying about Israeli self-defense actions than in befriending the small nation. Muslim Turkey was never Israel's enemy until Erdogan joined the coalition of hatred. He like the entire Muslim world (and many others) prefer weak defenseless, nationless Jews to strong Israelis who will not tolerate thousands of rockets aimed at their citizens. Every rocket is and should be responded to with strength. Muslims with rockets and those who "merely" encourage them are the war criminals that attack Jewish civilians almost every day. It's time to call our enemies what they are and to stop being so polite. The place to start is with Turkey. They are as bad as Hamas. The only difference is that they are a nation -- an increasingly evil nation that Attaturk would be ashamed of today.

5. Turkey was built on genocide and ethnic cleansing.
Millions of people were murdered or ethnically cleansed by 'Turkey'. Armenians, Greeks and Assyrians. In the 19th and 20th century, the Ottoman Turks expelled then from their lands and confiscated them. They then purged their language of non-Turkic words and created a new alphabet,

6. Our government, is responsible for our security
Just like your government is responsible for your security. NOBODY should tolerate living under terror. Oh, and Zionism is an inseperable part of Judaism so learn what Zionsim is before you start to talk. It is unfortunate that our leaders lack national pride to adaquately respond to insults and false accusations from Turkey.

11. Military industries need to think beyond their self-interest
Yes, Rafael, IAI and Elbit are fretting about losing customers. But they need to consider how some of the systems and technology they're so anxious to sell might some day soon be turned against their country.
It's said that countries have interests, not friends. Where Turkey is concerned, it's clear their relation with Israel has been strictly instrumental, as it was centuries ago with Jewish refugees from Spain.
For Erdogan personally, it's clear his heart is with the Muslim umma. If Turkey sees its greater interests are in aligning with the Arab and Muslim world, Israel will inevitably lose out.

13. Turkey, historical leader of 1.6 billion muslims
No need for European Union membership, if Turkey gives technical, financial and military aid to the Islamic world, and assumes its former Ottoman position of leader . The combined GDP of Islamic countries (OIC Members) today is $7 trillion. The underground wealth of muslim majority nations (oil, gas, iron ore etc) is also well documented. Unfortunately, they are simply misguided and ill-governed at the moment. But this could change with Turkish leadership. The current foreign policy observed by Turkey strongly supports this idea. Lets hope it works and we finally obtain a peaceful environment for co-existence.

16. To Tayfun Turkey , Istanbul
You are blind. If the Pal wanted peace we (Israel) would give it to them (Its good for business), but they keep asking for war, terror and death, and we continue to give it to them.
Israel not at fault in any way or form, For the Pal its business as usual, Death (children as Hamas protectors), Money (From World Bank, EU, UN as long as there's war) and Virgins (Probably Gay)
Have a good day, Enjoy Turkey's road to 3rd world isolation from the west, and enjoy your new friendship with Syria, Iran and Cuba

17. How many people remember about ten
ago,the earthquake in turkey? Remember how we sent soldiers to dig for survivors and bodies in fallen buildings? Remember food, water bottles, blankets, tents, toys, medical and building supplies sent by the people of Israel? Remember the doctors, nurses and medical technicians and the field hospital sent to turkey. Apparently the turks do not! They did not even send us a band aid in 2006 or stand behind us in the eight years of rocket and mortar attacks on our south. Nor even send condolences after the waves of terror we suffered.
Some friends!

Cancel all sales, recall your ambassadors. Turkey is dead to us. PS: NATO is finished now that a key member is partnered with Syria, and by extension, Iran.

21. #3 Cousin Ibrahim
where were you, cousin, Ibrahim, when your muslim brother tried to kill civilians in the vincinity of Gaza? Did you protest the launching of thousands of rockets? Where were you, cousin Ibrahim, when the Turkish army crossed into N.Iraq to fight PKK? I am disgusted by your duoble standard! Your muslim brother from HAMAS don´t care for their people. They hide behind them, misuse them from the kinder garten on, brainwash them! They misuse UN-compound, mosques, hospitals, etc . If you swallow all that, we do not care of what you say!

22. Tayfun
Cast lead was initiated to stop rocket and morter fire on communities in the vicinity off gaza. wether or not the idf went into actual hand to hand combat(most hamas members shed thier uniforms and ran away) or shelled/ bombs targets from afar, the bottom line is rocket/morter fire has just about abated. if it takes the killing of its people to stop the rocket/morter fire, SO BE IT!

23. Cast lead Was Initiated To Get Votes
There had been a six month truce between Hamas and Israel before Cast Lead. There were very few (probably less than five) rocket attacks during that time. Hamas agreed to try to prevent the attacks if Israel would open up the food and medical supply lines into Gaza. Hamas to the best of their ability kept their end of the bargain. During the entire six months Israel only let approximately 1/3 of the amount of supplies that were normally allowed before the blockade. Still Hamas did not attack. On November the 4th 2008 Israeli forces broke the truce. Only then did Hamas resume rocket attacks.
Cast Lead was initiated so that Livni and other politicians threatened with losing power could look tough on Hamas. Go back and read your own news reports. You have very shortsighted and narrow memories. No wonder Israelis can't figure out why civilised society is sick and tired of your country.

24. Israel had to attack Hamas to stop Iran into it's backyard..
Iran did plan and still is planning to take over Israel through any means like Hizbollah and Hamas till it get the chance to finish it's atomic bomb.
They did got some victory in Lebenon
3 years ago and Israel had over 100 casualties and Israel was very patient for such a long time and did not show any reaction to the missiles shooting from Gaza and Erdogan was very silent those days
as Israelis were suffering in Sedrot.
He did not had any objection as long as the Israelis were suffering and nothing was happening to Gazans. Israel had to stop the agressievness Hamas and the other Iranian supported terrorist groups were following and had to defend it's citizens who were suffering so much. Even the schools were closed and many were saved only through pure miracles from God. I don't remember even Once
this Erdogan the moslem made any statement to object what was happening in Sedrot. To me it was very clear that a moslem leader like Erdogan who is the neighbour of Islamic Republic gets the same virus as Ahmadinejad has and join them easilly as he can not accept the existance of a strong Jewish nation and strong Jewish army and people of Turkey and specially the Turkish Army should understand very well what happened in Iran 30 years ago can happen in Turkey under Erdogan not very far in time.
If this is the path you are choosing look into the last 30 years of Iran's history and see if you can live by it.

25. the fact is
had erdogan and other arabs criticized hamas for shelling innocent civilians, and instead encouraged them to leave israel alone, gaza could have become open. this goes for the west bank too. israel (and before that, the yishuv) has been fighting against the rejection of its existence from the arabs from the turn of the last century. israels only crime is that it has been winning all the wars. the intention on the part of the now very weakened arab and islamic fundamentalists has remained unchanged.

26. Turkey replaces Israel with Iran and Syria
Turkey has arrived to a strategic decision.
If the West does not want an Islamic Turkey, Islamic neighbors (read Syria, Iran) will. Arms ? no problem. Iran will sell arms to Turkey at half price and a 20 year credit
, as long as Iran arms will find their way through Turkey to Syria and Hizballah.
Turkey is fast becoming a devout Muslim country contrary to Ataturk`s laicism.
Last week Turkish President Abdullah Gul was interviewed by the French TV5 television. The interview took place at the Turkish embassy in Paris. One could see clearly, in all the walls of the official room, that there was no portrait of Ataturk, only the Turkish flag.
Can one imagine the Turkish Embassy in Paris without the portrait of Ataturk ?

27. WHAT??? #13 Ibrahim
LOL you say that the turks can provide financial, military and technical support to the islamic world. You are funny. You depend on the IMF for your financial survival. You depend on Israel and other suppliers for your military equipment and when was the last time turkey invented something that you can give technical assistance to other nations? You believe your own propaganda. Turkey is on a downward spiral into oblivion and islamic rule similar to iran. Turkey is nothing but a turkey.
