Hamas leader: We are not a terror organization

Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Zahar said in an interview to CNN that a distinction must be made between an organization elected by the majority of the Palestinian people and a terror organization, which is not a definition that applies to Hamas.

 

Al-Zahar said that negotiations are not Hamas' goal, but a method. He added that if Israel is ready to provide his people with their national requests, he promises to establish an independent state. (Ynet)
