The ninth International Animation, Comics & Caricature Festival will be opening in the Cinematheque in Tel Aviv on August 19 and will last for four days.
The festival will include the screening of hundreds of animated films, workshops, exhibitions, lectures, children's activities, comic book stands and more.
Nisim Hizkiyahu will serve as the artistic director for this year's event, with Dudu Shalita as curator.

'Celebs and the City': Hugh Grant and Elton John
Caricaturist Danny Kerman will be honored at this year's festival, and he will present an exhibition of new caricatures about Tel Aviv, that is celebrating its 100th birthday.
Artist Michel Kichka will hold an artist's meeting in which he will present how the city of Tel Aviv has been reflected in his drawings over the decades.
Daniela Gardosh, daughter of well-known caricaturist Dosh, will host a meeting about the mythological figure, Srulik, who is considered a symbol of Israel.
Caricaturists Amos Ellenbogen and Nir Molad will present their exhibition, and the caricaturist Nosko will present his illustrated interpretation of the drying up of the Dead Sea.
The program includes an opening event combining animation, dance and theater, a tribute to The Beatles, a show titled "Celebs and the City", featuring animated figures of Clark Gable, Hugh Grant, Michael Jackson, George W. Bush and more.
A number of award-winning animated films will also be screened during the festival.
