Has the world gone crazy or are we just running out of things to fight about?

The Lebanese like to put their name on everything but the truth is that Lebanon is nothing more then a Syrian province created by the French to make a Christian homeland for the Christian Syrians. This planned failed obviously but the present day lebanese got carried away and actually believe they are a seperate people from the Syrians with a seperate culture and food. Falafel, Hommos, Fool, Tabboule, Kubbeh among other arabic foods happen to be LEVANT foods from Greater Syria (Syria, Palestine, Jordan, Lebanon) and Egypt, it is completly ridicoulous how the Lebanese call it Lebanese food as if they have proof a lebanese invented it or that they have eaten it before other arabs started to eat it. THERE IS NO SUCH PROOF. This is simply levant arabic food that spread around the region, not lebanese food. PATHETIC LAWSUIT TO SAY THE LEAST, ONCE AGAIN THE LEBANESE MAKE A FOOL OUT OF THEMSELFS. THEY SHOULD ACKNOWLEDGE THAT THEY ARE SYRIANS instead of focusing on such pathetic issues, and they also should stop making so much plastic surgerys, and wissam, sorry to disappoint you but your women look like men and they try to cover it up by wearing 50 kg of make up but it doesn't change much, it only makes them look even more like transvestites. WHAT A SILLY PEOPLE. and they love to blame others for their problems and their hate for each other, ever since France made this state they have hated each other and fought each other but they blame others as usual. Give to Lebanon what is Lebanese. Since i was born I know this is Lebanese food. I'm from Lebanon and for 5 years I lived in Israel. Even there we call this Lebanese food. This is a food from the coutry of my father and my grand father. I love lebanon even if I can't go there for now. Lebanon is green, marvelous, friendly pelople, and here in Brazil I have many lebanese friends. Here our restaurants doesn't have hommus, tabouleh, kibbe or others. That's becouse it's a Lebanese food. Give to Lebanon what belongs to Lebanon, the same way we ask for what belong to us.

bizaar... I knew about all thes delicatessen and other food known here in Brasil "as arabian food", and so, how Lebanon could wish of food copyrights... these recipes are regional, not only from Lebanon, but israel itselfs, Syria and more countries of this region of Earth... nonsense...

Guys, the issue here is not the recepie nor the right of other countries to eat and sell falafel , taboule, hummus..... we all eat pizza and say it's italian , we all agree that hamburgers are american, w have no prob of israeli eating or cooking or ebven sellin these poducts as long as they admitt it's tarditional lebanese food

These foods have been around longer than the nation of Lebanon..

Falafel,Hummus,Shawirma...etc. are Arab originated. If you guys like to eat Arab food eat it.
