Teacher-student affair caught on tape?

Police to view cell phone video depicting teacher, student in alleged compromising situation. Video said to be pivotal for future of proceedings

Rehovot Police investigators tasked with probing the case in which a local teacher is suspected ofallegedly having sex with one of her students are said to be on a verge of a breakthrough.
The investigators have reportedly gotten a hold of a cell-phone video, shot by one of the student's classmates, in which the two are seen kissing and exhibiting other forms of affection, constituting inappropriate relations between a teacher and a student.
The student who captured the two on tape told the police she erased the footage, but investigators are confident that it can be retrieved, despite the fact that several months have gone by since.
"Once we view the video we will be able to determine whether or not we have concrete evidence against the teacher," police sources told Yedioth Ahronoth.
The police have also confiscated the teacher's home computer, in an attempt to find more evidence pertaining to the case.
Police investigators have also deposed several other students at the Rehovot high school, after learning they had seen the video. "The evidence so far points to some sort of a love triangle between the teacher, her student and another female student," said a police source.
"We already have enough evidence to press charges," added the source. "This goes far beyond a teacher's interest in her students."
Should the police proceed with the case, the teacher may face charges of sexual assault of a minor, abuse of power, witness harassment and obstruction of justice.
